Google as the creator of Android already formed an alliance called the Open Automotive Alliance to develop Android as the operating system for the vehicle. They partnered with General Motors, Audi, Hyundai, and chipset maker Nvidia. They focused on the production of vehicles with special technology.
This partnership carries the slogan "bring the best technology to the automotive industry and the Android mobile devices in a secure manner". This alliance will cooperate with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to ensure the security of the system.
Earlier this week, the boss of Audi, Rupert Stadler said installation plan 4G technology in their vehicles. Other well-known brand, Lexus, plans to develop future vehicles alike.
